02 Oct Global Secure Accreditation and ASAP announce partnership to add further reassurance on safety for guests
The safety and wellbeing of both corporate and leisure guests in the accommodation sector which includes hotels, aparthotels and serviced apartments has been further strengthened by a partnership between Global Secure Accreditation (GSA) and the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP).
James Foice, ASAP CEO, says: “We are delighted to recognise this partnership now, which has long existed as a friendly and supportive collaboration with GSA who specialise in providing security accreditation to the accommodation industry.
“As we start to welcome back guests and bring new ASAP Members on board, standards of health and safety have never been more important and GSA will further strengthen and complement our already recognised accreditation protocols operated by the International Serviced Apartment Accreditation Process (ISAAP) , now in 25 countries and 206 cities worldwide”
Nick Hawkins, Sales and Marketing Director at GSA, agrees: “GSA’s independent, global assessment scheme grew as a response to 89% of travellers needing reassurance about their physical safety. The partnership with ASAP demonstrates our joint commitment to providing independent accreditation for the corporate buyer as to the safety and security across all forms of accommodation for their travellers. ”
Foice concludes: “Accreditation has to be the differentiator when it comes to choosing safe, infection-secure accommodation, especially for travel buyers seeking reassurance around standards. This partnership means ASAP Members’ guests can truly stay with confidence.”
