Global Secure Accreditation and Travilearn team up to offer Foundational Travel Risk Management ISO 31030 training

21st September, 2021 – Global Secure Accreditation (GSA) and Travilearn™ are today launching a new training programme designed to enable travel management companies and corporates to achieve ISO 31030 – the new Travel Risk Management Guidance for Organisations which has just been published by ISO.

The Foundation course has been developed for all those involved in or connected to managing travel risk management. It has been created and delivered by Travilearn™ based on GSA’s extensive knowledge and expertise in travel risk management and on how the new ISO Standard will change risk mitigation behaviours.

The course is a self-paced, online learning module which will take approximately one hour to complete. Users will be guided through the topics included in the new standard, and upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Understand the scope of the new ISO 31030 standard
  • Obtain an introduction on how it applies to different travel programmes
  • Provide guidance on the steps to becoming compliant

Bob Quick, Executive Director and Founder of GSA, said: “The new ISO standard 31030 will bring much needed clarity to the responsibilities of employers when their staff are travelling on business. Our new course will enable members of an organisation to discover how it applies to their business in a practical and proportionate way.”

Karen McKenna, Founder of Travilearn™, added: “We are excited to be part of this important initiative to increase understanding and knowledge of travel risk management, through structured and certified training on an e-learning platform that is accessible in every global market using a simple log in.”
