GSA Standard Accreditation

GSA standard accreditation

  • Online risk based self-assessment programme
  • Accreditation to GSA standard
  • Quarterly hotel security intelligence updates

The process

GSA Standard Accreditation provides an on-line self-assessment for clients to seek accreditation of their hotel against the GSA baseline standards.

The self-assessment process addresses a series of security questions across six categories and requires supporting evidence, such as policies or photographs, to be uploaded by the client hotel. The on-line accreditation process is facilitated and reviewed by a GSA assessor, who will provide advice and guidance to the applicant hotel.

Achieving the GSA standard

On successful accreditation the client hotel receives a certificate of accreditation, an accreditation report and GSA branding materials. Hotels with Global Secure Standard Accreditation receive quarterly hotel security intelligence bulletins. GSA promotes accredited hotels to booking agents and corporate clients to assist them in discharging their duty of care for their clients and staff.
